We made a trip to a location where we know there is a good population of slimy salamanders. Needless to say, we didn't see any haha. It always seems like if you go herping expecting to find something you will see nothing.
    The creek bed we were in is usally full of salamanders. I have no idea what was going on this day, but we didn't see any. Still, the skink was a nice find.
    We did go back and film slimys later that year so check out part 2 if you want to see some.
