This big snapping turtle was found in the middle of a highway. That was sure to be a death sentance. So we took him and released him in a safer spot.
    It is quite an experience handling a turtle this big. one wrong move can be a serious hospital visit. The jaws on the snapping turtle are amazingly powerful. I would hate to think of what it would do to my hand if he got ahold of it.
