This is a video we made while in the Ozark Mountain area of Missouri. Due to the blazing heat these lizards are about the only thing we saw.
    The area we were hiking in is called the glades. It is a mixture of short grasses and rocky terrain. Perfect habitat for the race runners. Those little guys can take some extreme heat and not even slow down.
