This is my first attempt at a full length documentary. My goal was to outdo the Frog Call video I made, and I feed satisfied that this is better. It is a bit different from the rest of the HWD videos but I feel that insects are a topic that needed a video. Most reptiles and amphibians eat insects, and as a kid I spent hours and hours catching insects to feed my lizards.
    Now that I am finished with this video, which was a lot of work, I can honestly say that I am more proud of this than probably anything else I have made. This really did turn out great. I know a lot of people probably don't care about insects and would rather me have made a video about snakes. I guess I can understand that, people watch my videos to see reptiles and amphibians, not insects. I hope this video can get those people interested in other parts of the natural world.
    I have been wanting to make this video for a really long time but didn't really know how to approach it. You will have to excuse the length. I try to keep my videos short and to the point but there was no way to make a video about insects short and still do them any justice.
