Spring time is frog time in Southern IL. We spent a night in early April cruising the roads just to see the different frog species that were currently breeding.
    Highlight of the trip for me was obviously the Narrow-Mouthed Toads. It is always a pleasure to see them.
    That specific road, on rainy nights, is an insane experience. The sheer amount of amphibians (mostly leopard frogs) is staggering. There are literally hundreds of frogs.
