The river systems in Missouri offer some great opportunities to see aquatic herps. This particular river is shallow and very very clear making it easy to see turtles and snakes in the water. This is one of our favorite places to go in the summer. Aside from the herps, the cool water offers some a good escape from the blistering summer heat.

    What could be better than Swimming and herping?

    Filming around water does produce some challenges though. It is not easy to lug all of this camera equipment around and not get it wet. It is a very never racking experience so say the least.
